Rutland Water Peninsular, Hambleton
Enjoy a 7 mile stride around the peninsular and take in the lovely views of each side of Rutland Water. This village, which used to be known as Upper Hambleton, survived being flooded due to its elevated position and is home to the renowned Hambleton Hall country house hotel and Michelin starred restaurant. Neighbouring Lower Hambleton is now under water.
